Psychological support for children, adolescents, adults, and families

Reign of Mind Psychology provides thoughtful, professional, and individualised psychological care across the lifespan. Services are evidence-based and tailored to each person’s unique needs, goals, and stage of life, including support for mental health concerns as well as broader wellbeing and health-related behaviour change.

Therapy is collaborative and grounded in an understanding of how patterns of thought, emotion, and behaviour shape how we experience ourselves and the world around us. Reign of Mind reflects the brain’s capacity for change — and the idea that, with the right support, individuals and families can build insight, skills, and greater flexibility over time.

  • Experiences of persistent worry, heightened stress responses, or difficulty managing pressure in daily life, school, work, or relationships may be explored in sessions.

  • Periods of low mood, changes in motivation or energy, or fluctuations in emotional state that affect day-to-day functioning can be addressed.

  • Responses linked to past experiences that may continue to influence thoughts, emotions, or behavioural patterns may form part of the work.

  • Difficulties in recognising, understanding, or responding to emotional experiences may be considered.

  • Patterns of behaviour that impact functioning at home, in educational settings, or in social environments may be explored.

How I can support you

  • Challenges adapting to change, including developmental stages, family changes, schooling, relocation, or significant life events, may be supported.

  • Psychological factors influencing routines, habits, and lifestyle behaviours can be considered in the context of overall wellbeing.

  • Thoughts or feelings relating to body perception and self-image may be explored where relevant.

  • Support relating to neurodevelopmental presentations, including Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), may be provided.

  • Challenges relating to communication, relationships, or navigating social environments may be discussed where these are impacting daily functioning.

Access: Sessions may be accessed privately or under a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP), where clinically appropriate.

Raising Roots – Child, Parent & Family Support

Raising Roots is a core part of Reign of Mind Psychology, focused on supporting children’s emotional and behavioural development while also supporting parents along the way.

This work is grounded in early support and intervention where appropriate, and an understanding that children’s behaviour is closely connected to their emotional world, developmental stage, and environment.

Support may include individual therapy for children, parent involvement where appropriate, and parent-focused sessions tailored to family needs.

Neurodevelopmental Support

Support is available for individuals with neurodevelopmental differences, including Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This may include assistance with emotional regulation, behavioural difficulties, executive functioning, and daily functioning, as well as parent and family support where appropriate.

NDIS-funded sessions may be available for self-managed or plan-managed participants.

Individual Therapy – Adolescents & Adults

Individual therapy is available for adolescents and adults experiencing a range of emotional, behavioural, and psychological concerns. Sessions provide a supportive space to explore challenges, build insight, and develop practical skills for change.
